ALLOWED
- Do you know spirits have zero carbs? Any spirit with no added mix is allowed in a low carb diet.
- Whisky 🥃, vodka, rum, gin etc. are completely ok on a weight loss/ type 2 diabetes perspective. However it has other non weight loss/diabetes issues. So drink responsibly.
- dry Prosecco has also little carbs.
- Watch out for what dish you eat along with your drinking. Easily you can binge on fries 🍟 for eg.
NOT ALLOWED
- Beer, wine.
- Wine although has resveratrol which helps in longevity and age reversal. So small quantity may be good.
- Beer 🍺 is a killer if you have type 2 diabetes or looking for weight loss. A 500 ml beer has 20 grams of carbs and how much is your daily limit? <50. No wonder the term beer belly is coined.
