Let’s say your BMR is 2000 and you have a sedentary life. Let’s have a 500 calorie deficit. So 1500 cal. This is equivalent to 1.1 kg of cooked rice. 😳. Eat it for a week and you will see you gained instead of losing.
Let’s take the same example. But now have 1500 cal with Low carb diet. Infact go ahead and have 2000 calories You will atleast lose a kilo. Why, because the 2nd or 3rd day your body goes into ketosis which is an alternative way of getting energy. And in ketosis your fat is burned.
